Sweet & Sour Sauce |
Chimichurri |
Bang Bang Sauce
Slather this delectable condiment on everything!! It's creamy, sweet and tangy with hint of spice, even the kids will love it!
Ingredients:
½ cup your preferred* mayo
¼ cup sweet chili sauce
1 tsp sriracha
2 tsp agave
1 tsp rice vinegar
Preparation:
Combine ingredients & enjoy.

Sunshine Sauce
This dairy and egg free hollandaise replica will take your breakfast to the next level.
Makes: 2 cups
Ingredients:
- 1 can full fat coconut milk
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp black salt (kala namak)
- 2 tsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- pinch of cayenne (optional)
- 1 TB cornstarch + 1 TB water, combined
- salt & pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Whisk regularly until the mixture has come to a bubble, and has thickened.
- Serve with your favorite veggies or enjoy it on a hot breakfast sandwich!
Sweet & Sour Sauce
Just like the McDonalds version you dipped your McNuggets in!
Makes: 1/2 cup
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup apricot preserves
- 2 tsp ketchup
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1.5 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp yellow mustard
- 1/4 tsp granulated garlic
Preparation:
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over low heat.
- Whisk until smooth & combined.
- Dunk nuggets!
Roasted Garlic Alfredo
A dairy-free garlicky alfredo that will fulfill all your pasta dreams.
Makes: 2 cups
Ingredients:
- 2 cups plain unsweetened soymilk
- 1/3 c whole raw cashews
- 1 T nutritional yeast flakes
- 1 T miso paste
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 8-10 garlic cloves, roasted
- ¾ tsp salt
Preparation:
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over low heat.
- Whisk until smooth & combined.
- Dunk nuggets!
NOTE: To roast garlic. Cut ¼” off the top portion off the head of garlic (exposing the cloves inside), drizzle with olive oil, wrap into a foil packet and roast in a 400º oven for 60 minutes.
Maple Dijon
With just three simple ingredients you’ll have a sauce that is irresistible and extremely dippable!
Makes: 1/2 cup
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp whole-grain mustard
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
Preparation:
- Combine all ingredients & enjoy!
Wild Thing Sauce
Look no further you can create an animal-style burger or fries anytime you like!
Makes: 3/4 cup
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup your preferred* mayo
- 3 TB ketchup
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 2 TB sweet pickle relish
- 1 tsp agave
- 2 tsp white vinegar
- salt & pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Combine all ingredients & enjoy!
Tomato Jam
Slowly cooked down to sweet and jammy perfection, this condiment will beat ketchup every time!
Makes: 1 cup
Ingredients:
- 2lbs peeled tomatoes, chopped
- ½ medium yellow onion, diced
- 2 TB brown sugar
- 2 TB granulated sugar
- ¼ tsp coriander
- ⅛ tsp cumin
- 2 TB apple cider vinegar
- 1 TB lemon juice
- Salt & pepper to taste
Preparation:
Place all ingredients in a heavy sauce pot. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low. Simmer until mixture thickens like jam, almost 3 hours.
TIP: To easily remove tomato skins, score the bottom of the tomatoes with an X. Place in boiling water for 15-30 seconds until the edges start to peel away. Remove and dunk in ice water. Skins will slide right off!
Chimichurri
An explosion of flavors perfect for your tacos or veggies, just give it a little time to become greatness!
Makes: 3/4 cup
Ingredients:
- ½ cup light olive oil
- 3 - 4 TB red wine vinegar
- ½ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 3 - 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped or minced
- ¼ - ½ tsp red chili flakes (optional)
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp coarse salt
- pepper to taste
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients and refrigerate overnight for a flavor explosion!
Cheesy Chili Dip
Perfect to whip up for nacho night, great for the whole family.
Makes: 2 cups
Ingredients:
- ½ cup raw cashews
- 1 TB miso
- 2 TB nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 TB sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 TB tapioca flour
- 2 cups water
- 1 can veggie chili
Preparation:
- Blend all ingredients except for the chili in a blender until smooth.
- Pour contents into a medium saucepan. Cook on medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes, whisking occasionally until thickened.
- Once thickened, stir in the can of chili and heat until warmed through.
Goin’ Nuts
This sauce covers all the bases; sweet, salty, savory, nutty, tangy and downright tasty!
Makes: 1 cup
Ingredients:
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 2 TB rice vinegar
- 3 TB soy sauce
- 1 TB agave
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- ½ tsp garlic chili paste
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- ¼ c water (or more depending on how thick you like)
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients & enjoy!
Buffalo Sauce
Our zesty take on a 60 year old classic!
Makes: 1/2 cup
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup of your preferred* butter, melted
- ¼ cup Louisiana-style hot sauce
- 1 TB white vinegar
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 TB water
- ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
Preparation:
- In a small sauce pot, combine all ingredients and bring to a simmer.
- Toss in crispy nuggets for a buffalo nugget experience you won’t forget!
Blackened Ranch
Ranch, but better!
Makes: 3/4 cup
Ingredients:
- ½ c your preferred* mayo
- ¼ c soymilk + 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 TB fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 TB dried minced onion
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp blackened seasoning or more to taste
Preparation:
- Mix all ingredients until well combined.
- Allow to sit for 30+ minutes for flavors to meld (if you can!)
